I've been doing some research on chia seeds and today marks day one of adding some to my diet. They are loaded with fiber, calcium, omega 3's and lots of other good for you stuff! They absorb 9 times their weight in liquid, so they should help keep me fuller longer. I hope so!! They are also supposed to help lower cholesterol and help keep blood sugar levels even. I'm not expecting a miracle, but any little helping hand is welcome!
The co-op had mis labeled a 10lb bag of bulk chia seeds for $10 instead of per lb.
ReplyDeleteThe manager let us have it even when I protested. I wanted to be nice and not screw over the place but he said NO! That is the price, that is the price today.
We have enough Chia until the end of the word. You can make a pudding with it.
